" Let Your Steps Be Like Qatar's Tiger, We Do Not Hear His Voice, But Its Impact Is Clear"

" Let Your Steps Be Like Qatar's Tiger, We Do Not Hear His Voice, But Its Impact Is Clear", a new wisdom that spread through the Blackberry devices. It runs like wildfire.

Many rumors spread recently about the escape of a tiger in Al-Khreittiyat.

This issue was addressed in a way most comic rather than serious via Blackberry, or via caricatures by newspapers such as, Al-Sharq, Al-Raya, and Al-Arab.

The funny thing is that some citizens have offered to buy this tiger for 1,000,000 QR.
Here, a question arises: I wonder if the tiger did not escape, Would it deserved to be bought by 1,000,000 QR?

The Last Shout of Fashion World

Every Finger Tells a Story an article that posted on Wednesday on New York Times and attracted a lot of teenagers and fashion people. It was written by the famous reporter Kayleen Schaefer.

Schaefer’s article was about the last shout in the fashion world, which is Minx. “Minx is a flexible polymer film that shrink-wraps to the nail and can be removed with acetone. (Schaefer)*

Also, Schaefer talked about how Minx emerges in the fashion world, which really added a magic touch on the world of the fashion.

Today Minx gives the women a wide and easy opportunity to follow the fashion. “We wanted to be able to link nail art with fashion. You wear a different handbag and it changes your look. Now you’ve got the opportunity to match the outfit with your nails. It’s not just painting the nails. It’s completing the look. (Goodwin)*

10/10/10: The Promised Day to Say: "I Do"

"10/10/10: They Love Just Thinking About It. " an article that written by John Schwartz and had a distinctive effect on the readers. Actually, I like this article because it talked about a special day that most people waited it for several years. In my opinion, This day is really deserves to be waited. I like Schwartz's article as well as this day.
10/10/10 is the promised date that people waited it since 01/01/01.  Both two dates are special more than 02\02/02, 03/03/03, 04/04/04, etc… Consisting of zeros and ones is the characteristic that specialized those two dates. 10/10/10 is a special day for many people, especially the betrothed. Most of them waited many years to live their wedding on this date. This may sound silly to some people, but I am seeing it as something wonderful, nice and worth to wait. Simply, the reason is that people do not get married every day. This beautiful anniversary happened once in a lifetime only.

Although Schwartz excelled in writing this article and presenting his idea, but he did not mentioned enough reasons that make this day special. One of the few reasons are:
" For those of a geeky bent, the date has another layer of importance — it is made up entirely of ones and zeros, the binary language of computing. Kevin Cheng and Coley Wopperer of San Francisco have been waiting nearly two years for their wedding date to roll around, having realized over dinner with friends in 2008 that, as one suggested, “you could have a binary-themed wedding!” he recalled. " (Schwartz)

In my opinion, there are much important reasons, for example:
·        People like their important events or anniversary being in an important or special date. This adds a sweet touch on their anniversary.
·         Today, in twenty one century, people are as busy as a bee. They are doctors, teachers, engenders, etc… And they are always busy in both job life and there private life. Therefore, it will be much easier to remember their anniversary that lived in this date.
Regardless of this point, Schwartz wrote an excellent article. Actually I liked his article, his way and especially his idea.
